The Model of the United Nations Instituto Oriente (MUNIO) is an academic simulation in which delegates engage in debates on international issues of global concern, following a protocol that reflects the procedures of real United Nations sessions. Within this framework, participants assume the roles of States, advocates, judges, senators, or ministers, and seek to embody the principles and responsibilities of their assigned role in order to address the topic under discussion.

MUNIO seeks to transform the world through youth by fostering skills such as debate, discipline, empathy, and socialization, aiming to raise awareness about global challenges and propose solutions. Through activities simulating real United Nations debates, it encourages teamwork and critical thinking. In this way, MUNIO goes beyond academics and becomes a driving force for change and inspiration for future generations.

The vision of MUNIO is to be recognized in Puebla and nationally. With 16 years of continuous improvement, it has strengthened its prestige annually. In the short term, it seeks to increase student participation, offering opportunities to develop academic and professional skills. In the long term, it aspires to a just society where, guided by Jesuit values, life is oriented toward service and responsibility to others.
